Prinsesstårta or Princess cake is a well-loved Swedish cakes, often served as a birthday cake. Layers of sponge, vanilla cream, raspberry jelly and whipping cream are covered by a green marzipan dome. Decorated with a small marzipan pink rose and cut cut marzipan green leaves it has become one of Sweden’s most loved cakes.
